The Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting the overall delivery and quality of programming at Laurus Summer Camp. Working closely with the Regional Manager and Location Manager this role helps ensure that activities staff support camper engagement and day-to-day operations run efficiently throughout the summer. The Program Coordinator serves as a key resource for both staff and families helping create a safe organized and memorable camp experience.

• Support the preparation and organization of staff training sessions.
• Assist with site readiness ensuring program spaces materials and equipment are prepared before camp begins.
• Help coordinate opening logistics and operational planning for the summer season.
• Participate in the development and organization of camp programming and special events.

• Monitor the overall quality and consistency of camp programming.
• Support counselors and leadership staff by providing guidance feedback and operational assistance.
• Assist with the coordination of special events theme days and camp-wide activities.
• Help address parent inquiries and contribute to a positive family experience.
• Ensure activities schedules and transitions run smoothly throughout the day.
• Collaborate with camp leadership to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Support inventory and material management to ensure program needs are met.

• Education in Education Recreation Psychology Child Studies or a related field is considered an asset.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children in educational recreational or camp settings.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Positive energetic and solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a leadership team.
• Comfortable adapting to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
