About this Role

Manufacturing assembly production team leadership continuousimprovementand high-precision manufacturing.

As a Production Supervisor you will lead a manufacturing team responsible for building CAEs industry-leading flight simulators. You will oversee daily production activities ensuring safety qualityproductivityand deliveryobjectivesare achieved while supporting a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who enjoys working on the production floor solvingproblemsand driving continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervisecoachand develop a team of production employees in a manufacturing environment

  • Manage daily production activities to ensure safety qualityproductivityand deliveryobjectivesare achieved

  • Foster a positivecollaborativeand accountable team culture

  • Ensure compliance with health and safetyqualityand manufacturing standards

  • Monitor production schedules and proactively address issues that mayimpactproject milestones and delivery timelines

  • Coordinate workforce allocationmaterialsand resources to support production requirements

  • Analyze operational performance andidentifyopportunities to improve efficiencyqualityand productivity

  • Lead continuous improvement and change management initiatives

  • Establishimplementandmaintainproduction procedures and operational standards

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturingobjectivesand customer commitments

  • Manage employeesin accordance withcompany policies and collective agreements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Mechanical Engineering Operations Management or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing or production environment

  • Experience managing production schedules workforceplanningand operational performance

  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience working in a unionized environment

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

  • Knowledge of manufacturing health and safety best practices

  • Strongproficiencywith Microsoft Office applications

  • Experience working in a complex technology-driven or evolving manufacturing environment

  • Strong communicationskills in both French and English

English proficiency isfor this role as it involves regular interaction with colleagues customers and partnerslocatedoutside of Quebec.
