Position Summary
The night shift Production Manager will lead our night shift operations across print and finishing in a high-security high-precision manufacturing environment. This is a critical leadership role with direct impact on throughput quality and executionowning performance when it matters most.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead night shift operations across multiple print and bindery/finishing processes.
- Deliver against production targets while maintaining strict quality and security standards. Provide detailed reporting via shift reports and MES system.
- Drive floor disciplineclear expectations real-time problem solving and decisive escalation.
- Improve key metrics including yield spoilage throughput and downtime.
- Build strong accountable teamscoach frontline staff and leads; address performance issues or opportunists head-on.
- Ensure compliance with safety quality security and union requirements.
- Partner cross-functionally (Quality Security Maintenance Product Managers) to resolve issues and keep production moving.
- Own shift handoversclear factual communication with no surprises.

Qualifications :
Mandatory Requirements
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Fluent in English (speak read write)
- Able to obtain (in a timely manner) and maintain Government of Canada Secret (Level II) security clearance
- Able to work night shift
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3 years of leadership (people management) experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and practices
- E.g. Lean manufacturing Six Sigma 5S etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in a print manufacturing environment
- 3 years of leadership (people management) experience in a unionized environment
- Strong understanding of print and print finishing processes
- Relevant certifications (Six Sigma etc.)
- Data driven mindset
