Production Assistant

We have an immediate part-time opportunity for a Production Assistant.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Working in concert with the Morning Live producer Evening News producer anchors reporters Lineup editor writers and director-switchers assist in all aspects of production of our newscasts on air and online

• Monitor social media and news feeds

• Post clips and other news to and other digital channels

• Liaise with Master Control & Traffic

• Other duties as required

Qualifications and Skills:

• Possess at least six months of live news production experience

• Be well organized

• Demonstrate strong spelling and grammar skills

• Possess a broadcast diploma or equivalent

• Have a valid drivers licence and a clean driving record

• Working knowledge of ENPS Adobe Premiere Pro and WordPress is a strong asset.

• Be familiar with the current events of Hamilton Halton Niagara and Brant.
