As a Product Design Intern youll help shape the user experience of Rockets innovative digital products. Youll gain hands-on experience in the product design process collaborate with cross-functional teams and help define the future of financial services technology.

About the Role

• Generate ideas and concepts through sketching wireframing and prototyping

• Work with our research team to understand customer needs and pain points

• Translate insights and feedback into intuitive and visually appealing designs

• Collaborate with product managers engineers and other designers to bring to life

• Advocate for user-centered design principles

About You

Minimum Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in design tools such as Figma Sketch or Adobe Creative Suite

• Strong visual design and UI/UX skills

• Ability to effectively communicate design decisions and rationale

• Passion for creating exceptional user experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to support the iterative design process from end-to-end including wire-framing prototyping user testing and high-fidelity visuals

• Experience with user research and usability testing

• Familiarity with design thinking methodologies

• Understanding of front-end development and technical constraints

• Experience contributing to the design of products in a collaborative cross-functional environment

The compensation for this position is $14.00-$43.50.The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus incentives and other employment-related benefits including but not limited to medical dental and vision benefits retirement plan and paid time off.
