The Procurement Manager provides strategic and operational leadership across procurement functions to ensure reliable supply optimized cost and strong supplier performance. This role is accountable for developing end-to-end sourcing strategies driving cross-functional collaboration and building a high-performance value-driven procurement organization.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Oversees sourcing supplier management and contract governance to ensure cost-effective and reliable supply. 
• Develops and executes category strategies that drive value innovation and risk mitigation. 
• Builds high-performing teams through coaching performance management and leadership development. 
• Ensure procurement practices align with regulatory ethical and corporate standards. 
• Ensure compliance with CanadaUnited StatesMexico Agreement (CUSMA) tariff provisions including verification of rules of origin and accurate tariff classification for cross-border shipments.
• Drives cost optimization while maintaining quality and service levels.
• Implement best practices to improve procurement efficiency and effectiveness. 
• Ensure procurement systems deliver accurate data and actionable insights. 
• Build strategic partnerships to enhance supplier performance and long-term value.

Other Information:

This is a full-time on-site position based in Kelowna BC working Monday to Friday 8-hour days.

What You Bring:

• Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing warehouse logistics or supply chain leadership
• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2 years of supervisory experience including team oversight scheduling and performance management
• Proven ability to lead coach and develop team members in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with materials fabrication inventory systems and ERP platforms
• Professional designations (SCMP CPSM APICS/CSCP) are an asset
• Expert level proficiency in Excel
• Understanding of project management disciplines and best practices
• Highly organized with the ability to deliver detailed accurate work in a timely manner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in team environments
