Maple Reinders Constructorsis currently searching for aProcurement Coordinatorto join our Civil construction division inMississauga Ontario.
The Procurement Coordinator supports the successful delivery of construction projects by managing the sourcing evaluation and coordination of materials and subcontracted services. This role works closely with project teams vendors and subcontractors to ensure procurement activities align with project specifications budgets and timelines while fostering strong industry relationships and driving value.
In doing so you will be involved in:
Evaluate tendered quotes against specifications and drawings
Assist in preparing purchase orders and subcontract agreements
Assist in negotiations with vendors and subcontractors
Develop successful relationships with vendors and subcontractors
Track status of purchase orders and subcontracts
Attending project meetings to provide procurement updates
Qualifications/Skills:
Minimum 1 year or more experience in a coordinator type or role in the construction industry.
A University Degree/Technology Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or a combination of education and industry experience.
Understanding of construction specifications and drawings.
Experience working on water / wastewater projects is considered a strong asset.
