Job Summary
Procurement Analyst (SAP)
Play a key role in supporting global procurement operations within the mining sector. Based in Montréal this hybrid opportunity offers the chance to work with SAP procurement data reporting and process improvement while collaborating with international teams on impactful initiatives in a fast-paced global environment.
What is in it for you:
Salaried: $40-44 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $45-50 per hour.
12-month contract with the possibility of extension up to 18 months.
Day schedule 37.50 hours per week.
Hybrid model: 3 days per week on-site.
Responsibilities:
Procurement & Transactional Support
Execute transactional procurement activities in SAP including material updates pricing changes and purchase-related configurations
Manage ServiceNow tickets related to Outline Agreements (OAs) ensuring timely and accurate execution
Investigate and resolve transactional issues related to purchase orders vendor data and contracts
Outline Agreement (OA) Management
Create update and maintain Outline Agreements including the addition removal and correction of materials and pricing
Support OA lifecycle activities including renewals updates and expiration checks
Ensure alignment and consistency of procurement data across plants systems and agreements
Data Integrity & Master Data Maintenance
Maintain high-quality procurement data by updating and validating:
Material master data (descriptions units of measure manufacturer details)
Vendor master data (tax settings banking details account structures)
Identify and correct inconsistencies to ensure system accuracy and compliance
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze procurement data to identify trends inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
Support reporting initiatives including dashboards trackers and performance metrics (KPIs)
Contribute to identifying material leakage and improving automation coverage
Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration
Act as a key point of contact for transactional procurement requests
Collaborate with category analysts specialists and global support teams to resolve issues and implement changes
Engage with suppliers to validate and confirm vendor information when required
Continuous Improvement & Projects
Participate in initiatives such as:
Vendor consolidation and rationalization
OA hygiene and data cleansing activities
Procurement automation and process standardization
Dashboard creation in Power BI
Support project tracking reporting and execution across multiple initiatives
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelors degree in a related field is preferred.
13 years of experience in procurement supply chain or transactional operations.
13 years of experience preparing reports and analyzing complex data to support decision-making.
Hands-on experience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA.
Familiarity with procurement processes including Procure-to-Pay (P2P) contracts and supplier data.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards reports and visualizations.
Working knowledge of VBA and Power Query.
Experience with Power Apps is an asset.
Bilingual in English and French to support collaboration with internal stakeholders global support teams and suppliers in both languages.
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across organizational levels.
