What will your day-to-day look like

  • Act as a technical expert (Subject Matter Expert SME) for the Torque Management System (TMS) across all assembly sites.
  • Manage the inventory of TMS controllers and tools. Ensure systems are updated to the latest version and track the number of licenses.
  • Ensure the implementation of best practices documentation and the creation of Cookbooks (guides) for TMS systems.
  • Collaborate with TMS governance and support the long-term vision.
  • Manage multiple initiatives for continuous improvement of integration systems such as TMS induction heating and others.
  • Serve as the point of contact for TMS Andon systems. Monitor performance indicators (quality productivity efficiency etc.) and apply appropriate measures and solutions.
  • Participate in and conduct TMS testing through to production implementation.
  • Perform various other tasks as required.

What do you need to succeed

  • 2 years or more of relevant experience in IT systems
  • Technical knowledge of torque systems will be an asset
  • Mechanical Engineering will be an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and projects
  • Ability to solve IT problems including debugging of systems
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with all internal and external teams
  • Decision-making and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence and act as a change agent
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to handle high pressure and prioritize multiple requests in an ultra-dynamic environment
  • Adaptability autonomy and a positive attitude

Role

Under direct supervision assists in planning and designing manufacturing processes in an industrial plant. May help improve production methods determine manufacturing capacity and set up production schedules. Assists with the design fabrication modification and evaluation in support of manufacturing operations such as machining metal forming plastics processing welding and brazing assembly and material handling. Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering and no prior experience
