Job Summary

- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Toronto Ontario orCalgary Albertaor be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
- At least 15years of overall technology experience.
- At least 5years of experiencein Architecture or CTO Advisory roles
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

- Experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation programs within Banking Financial Services Insurance Capital Markets or Payments.
- Proven experience driving Cloud Data AI Digital Engineering and/or technology modernization initiatives in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong banking and financial services domain knowledge including banking and payments ecosystems.
- Experience leading or supporting core banking modernization including transformation of legacy platforms and technology capabilities.
- Strong understanding of digital channels and customer-facing platforms including modernization of digital banking experiences.
- Experience applying FinOps principles to support cloud financial management cost optimization and technology efficiency.
- Demonstrated experience with AI-enabled SDLC transformation including the adoption of AI capabilities across software engineering and delivery practices.
- Experience implementing or operating within a Product Operating Model and enabling product-centric technology delivery.
- Ability to translate business and technology strategies into enterprise architecture transformation roadmaps and modernization priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic technology and architectural guidance to senior stakeholders and influence decisions across business and technology teams.
- Ability to balance innovation modernization operational resilience governance and business outcomes when shaping enterprise technology strategy.
- Good to have
- TOGAF or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification
- Cloud architecture certification such as Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert AWS Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent
- AI/ML or Generative AI certification from a recognized technology provider
- Kubernetes / Cloud Native certification
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or DevOps certification
- Additional certifications in cloud AI platform engineering or emerging technologies are considered an asset
Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based on the below location will be:
Ontario: 118075- 143497
