Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Poultry Farm Worker to join a commercial turkey farming operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the health and welfare of turkeys operating farm equipment and ensuring daily farm operations are carried out efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene and animal care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the health and well-being of turkeys and report any abnormalities.
  • Feed water and provide daily care for turkeys according to farm protocols.
  • Detect signs of disease or health issues and promptly report them to farm management.
  • Operate inspect and perform basic maintenance of farm machinery and equipment.
  • Clean and sanitize poultry barns barnyards and work areas to maintain biosecurity standards.
  • Set up monitor and adjust water lines ventilation systems airflow and barn temperature to ensure optimal bird welfare.
  • Inspect poultry and farm produce for quality before preparing them for market.
  • Maintain accurate daily records and submit basic progress reports.
  • Follow farm safety hygiene and animal welfare procedures at all times.
  • Assist with general farm duties as assigned.


Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in poultry farming livestock farming or agriculture is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of poultry health feeding and farm operations is preferred.
  • Ability to operate farm machinery and equipment or willingness to learn.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in a farm environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good observation record-keeping and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if required.



  • Required Skills:
