Ledcor is looking for Pipefitter Forepersons to join our team supporting major shutdowns and turnarounds across Albertas industrial facilities.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Execute shutdown and turnaround piping scopes including maintenance repairs replacements and system tie-ins

  • Provide daily leadership direction and support to Journeyperson and Apprentice Pipefitters

  • Forecast coordinate and oversee preventative maintenance requirements

  • Ensure the safety of the crew equipment and work environment

  • Adapting to changing priorities in a time-sensitive environment

  • Daily paperwork and conduct daily toolbox talks

  • Maintain high productivity and quality during extended shifts and compressed timelines

  • Maintain and update maintenance schedules tracking systems and documentation to ensure accurate record-keeping and effective planning

  • Coordinate and communicates with the other Foreman and Supervision to ensure the correct sequencing of operations

  • Trains supports and offers guidance to new employees

  • Inspects work fronts regularly and ensures schedules are followed

Qualifications:

  • Registered Journeyperson Pipefitter certification

  • 3-5 years previous experience in a foreman role

  • Proven experience in shutdowns turnarounds or outage maintenance in oil & gas or heavy industrial environments

  • Strong ability to read and interpret isometric drawings and P&IDs

  • Experience working on time-sensitive schedule-driven projects with shifting priorities

  • Ability to work 1012 hour shifts overtime and consecutive days during shutdowns

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety quality and procedural compliance
