WorleyCord Energy Services Ltd. a subsidiary of WorleyCord Ltd. is seeking:
Apprentice Pipefitters
To work at our Air Products Field Project in Edmonton AB.
- SALARY: $31.20 - $46.80
- DSP SALARY: $72.44
- BENEFITS: 3% Pension & 3% RRSP CLAC Benefits
- HOURS PER DAY: 10 Mon - Thurs 8 Friday
- OVERTIME: After 8 hours a day
- SHIFT: Days & Nights
- START DATE: ASAP
- PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly Pay (Friday)
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring cutting threading grooving and bending of pipes valves and fittings
- Assembles and installs piping sections according to blueprints and job specifications
- Performs physically demanding tasks such as cutting openings for pipe while standing for extended periods of time and securing pipe in hard to reach areas
- Uses testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors
- Read and interpret drawings and blue prints
- May perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Apprenticeship Pipefitting ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
- Must have experience working at heights
- Must be willing to attend safety training (paid by WorleyCord): CSTS WHMIS2015 ESC EWP ESC Fall Protection
- Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills written and verbal
- Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
