Hours of Work:37.5 hours/week. Monday to Saturday. All locations.

Job Description:

  • Provide pharmaceutical care services to clinic and non-clinic clients.

  • Directs guides and evaluates pharmacy technicians assistants and/or students as required.

  • In collaboration with the physician provide prescriptions and medication counselling and drug education as part of the interdisciplinary team with a strong emphasis on health promotion and disease management.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
  • Registration with Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (SCPP).
  • Registration with Pharmacy Association of Saskatchewan (PAS).

Competencies

  • Must be bondable.
  • Insurance malpractice insurance.
  • Must have knowledge of and capability with the philosophy and policies of CHSA.
  • Good oral and communication skills.
  • Previous experience preferred.
  • Able to work independently as well as work as a team member.
  • Able to work efficiently in a high-volume pharmacy.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills and professional attitude.
