What You Will Do:

  • Lead asset performance analytics reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Investigate performance gaps conduct testing and validate wind/solar uprates.

  • Enhance data platforms to deliver accurate performance and resource insights.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and industry partners to improve asset performance.

  • Drive performance programs and support consultants on testing and uprate activities.

  • Standardize document and automate analytics processes while supporting project needs.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering. Preference is a Master of Science (.) or Doctoral with research experience in a field directly related to renewable power generation.

  • Registered member with APEGA as P. the Province of Alberta.

  • 4 or more years related experience.

  • Passion for renewables with a strong willingness to learn.

  • Solid foundation in math statistics and data science.

  • Strong problem-solving communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in programming (Python/MATLAB; other languages an asset).

  • Self-motivated with strong project management and organizational skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment.

  • Limited travel (<10%) to field sites other office locations and/or industry conferences. Ability to travel and work on projects throughout Canada and United States. Valid passport is required.

  • Wind turbine site environment to monitor and observe work performed. Applicants must be able to climb vertical stationary ladders inside wind turbine towers to heights greater than 250 feet.

  • Occasionally employees may be required to work in adverse outdoor weather conditions in temperatures greater than 35C and lower than -20C.

  • The environment is fast-paced and deliverables-based with competing deadlines to support ambitious performance and cost goals.
