About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and people-centered HR Manager People & Culture to lead the human side of our organization. This role goes beyond traditional HR administration you will be the architect of our workplace culture the champion of employee experience and a strategic partner to leadership on all things people-related. Key Responsibilities
Culture & Employee Experience
  • Design and drive initiatives that strengthen company culture employee engagement and a sense of belonging across all teams.
  • Act as a culture custodian ensuring company values are reflected in everyday decisions communications and behaviors.
  • Plan and lead employee engagement programs recognition initiatives and team-building activities.
  • Regularly gather employee feedback (surveys focus groups one-on-ones) and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Sit on the People Project Committee contributing to discussions on employee engagement strategies and the planning of employee activities and functions.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
  • Own the end-to-end recruitment process ensuring a positive and culture-aligned candidate experience.
  • Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs and build strong talent pipelines.
  • Design and continuously improve onboarding programs that help new hires integrate quickly and feel welcomed.

HR Operations & Compliance
  • Manage core HR functions including payroll coordination benefits administration leave management and HR record-keeping.
  • Process and administer payroll ensuring accuracy timeliness and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Review and approve employee timesheets ensuring accurate tracking of hours worked leave and overtime.
  • Ensure company policies and practices comply with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and update the employee handbook policies and standard operating procedures.

Performance & Development
  • Oversee performance management processes including goal-setting reviews and feedback cycles.
  • Identify learning and development needs and coordinate training programs to support employee growth.
  • Support career development conversations and internal mobility opportunities.

Employee Relations & Wellbeing
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee concerns conflict resolution and workplace issues.
  • Champion employee wellbeing initiatives including mental health support and work-life balance programs.
  • Foster open communication channels between employees and leadership.

Strategic HR Partnership
  • Advise leadership on organizational design workforce planning and change management.
  • Use HR metrics and data to inform decisions on retention engagement and culture health.
  • Contribute to building a diverse equitable and inclusive workplace.

Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration Psychology or a related field.
  • 4 years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on culture engagement or employee experience.
  • Solid understanding of HR best practices labor laws and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Experience using HRIS systems and comfort working with HR data/metrics.
  • Working knowledge of payroll processes including hands-on experience supporting or coordinating payroll runs deductions and payroll-related queries.
  • A genuine passion for people culture-building and creating positive workplace experiences.
  • HR certification (e.g. SHRM-CP PHR) is a plus.
