Pega QA Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Pega QA Engineer with strong expertise in Pega technology to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of Pega applications through rigorous testing and validation processes. This role requires a deep understanding of Pega frameworks and methodologies to effectively identify and resolve issues.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts for Pega applications.
- Perform functional regression and performance testing to ensure application quality.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand application requirements and provide feedback on testability.
- Identify document and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Participate in code reviews and provide input on quality improvements.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Provide status reports and updates to project stakeholders.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Pega technology.
- Proficiency in testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience in writing and executing test cases for Pega applications.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automation testing tools.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on Pega applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
