Remarkable are looking for a detail-oriented and service-focused Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our growing team. You will be responsible for accurate and timely administration of payroll and employee benefits serving as a key point of expertise for payroll and employee data. You will manage day-to-day payroll transactions validate information entered into the payroll system by the People & Culture team pull relevant reporting and ensure payroll & benefits processes are completed accurately efficiently and in accordance with applicable provincial legislation and company policy. The People & Culture team is committed to providing a high level of care and service to our this role you will be a trusted point of contact for payroll and benefit related questions and support responding to phone calls and emails with kindness professionalism and accurate information. You will help ensure payroll processes are timely and accurate and contribute to HRIS enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen the employee is an excellent opportunity for a skilled payroll & benefits professional who enjoys working with people systems and data and takes pride in delivering accurate reliable and confidential service in a complex healthcare Youll Be DoingPayroll Administration & ComplianceExecute full-cycle payroll administration for employees across multiple provinces and divisions ensuring accurate and timely processing in accordance with Canadian payroll legislation and company policies reporting to the Payroll and Benefits review and validate payroll transactions including new hires terminations promotions compensation changes leaves and other employee employee time and attendance information identify discrepancies or unusual entries and work with leaders to resolve issues to ensure accurate payroll to internal payroll inquiries providing clear and accurate information in a timely and professional manner to AdministrationAdminister employee benefits programs including enrollments changes leaves terminations and employee to employee questions regarding benefits deductions eligibility and coverage providing clear and accurate information in a timely and professional & Payroll SystemsValidate and maintain accurate employee and payroll data through regular internal audits reconciliations and quality Dayforce Excel QGenda and other integrated systems to support payroll processing reporting and employee data Were Looking ForMinimum of 4 years of progressive responsible experience in Canadian payroll administration preferably including experience with complex operations and/or multi-provincial knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation taxation deductions and compliance with payroll or HRIS systems; Ceridian Dayforce experience is a strong with employee benefits administration including enrollments changes terminations deductions reconciliations and employee inquiries is considered an attention to detail and a commitment to getting payroll and benefits right the first time.A strong customer-service mindset with the ability to respond to employee questions with kindness patience professionalism discretion and empathy particularly when dealing with delicate or time-sensitive payroll and benefits Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain payroll and benefits information in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.A collaborative approach and commitment to work alongside colleagues with People & Culture other operational leaders employees and external benefit & payroll CPM or PLP designation is considered an asset but is not required.
