At AirSprint our core values of Safety Integrity Humility Service People and Community are ingrained throughout our operations and collaboration with the Payroll and Benefits Manager the Payroll and Benefits Administrator plays a critical role in supporting and managing all aspects of the organizations payroll processing and employee benefits administration. Your commitment to providing exceptional service to employees and maintaining compliance with relevant policies and regulations will be integral to our this role you will:Provide administrative support throughout the full payroll cycle in Dayforce including:Prepare and validate semi-monthly full-cycle Canadian payroll for salaried and hourly employees following the Canada Labour Code as a federally regulated balance and reconcile payroll data and complete audits on any changes and updates to payroll. Verify employee timesheet data and other pay new hires terminations and employee status changes (e.g. compensation adjustments leaves of absence).Process onetime adjustments to earnings deductions and memo off cycle additional payroll commissions and advances when earnings such as retro pay commissions holiday pay reimbursements from employees for overpayments benefits pensions paid leaves the employee benefit plan including processing new enrollments updates and Dayforce setup as payroll related filings and supporting documentation including RRSP contributions Records of Employment and other employee recoverable and other authorized deductions (i.e. garnishment employee portion premium etc.).Prepare process and submit payroll month end tasks (i.e. AD&D balance HSA/WSA balances WCB balance etc.).Prepare and submit required information for yearend processing including WCB yearly annual return balancing and prompt friendly customer service to employees on payroll related questions and any related pay audits analysis and required payroll testing and any subsequent -solve to correct inaccurate payments and process Payroll and Benefits Manager with Dayforce maintenance and compliance with Canada Labour Code and maintain the highest standards of with other duties and projects as be successful in this role you will have:A post secondary certificate in accounting business administration or a related field.A minimum of three years of related payroll and benefits administration experience in a cloud based HRIS platform (Dayforce ADP etc.).Benefits and RRSP administration proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel Word).Bonus points if you have:Payroll Compliance Professional on Dayforce fit right in if you:Focus on getting things right down to the last passionate about providing exceptional customer excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal a humble team player and are ready to pitch in wherever youre needed while appreciating the opportunity to work highly organized with strong multi-tasking and time management good analytical thinking and organizational willing to seek and provide constructive feedback as well as a commitment to personal and organizational growth and think youll like working for us because:We care about your health and well-being and offer an employee assistance program extended health care benefits dental and vision benefits and paid time value your contribution to our success and provide a competitive salary and an RRSP matching have a great team and we work hard together toward common goals and with a passion for offer family and friends flight respect honour and celebrate the diversity of our employees as we know our differences make us better.
