We are currently hiring three Part-Time Service Advisors for our Member Contact Centre based at our Burnaby Head Office.

Please note that the initial training period will be full-time (35 hours per week) Monday to Friday. Upon successful completion of training team members will transition to a part-time schedule.

Part-time schedules will be one of the following:

• Tuesday to Friday: 9:30 a.m. 1:30 p.m. and Saturday: 9:30 a.m. 2:30 p.m.

• Monday: 10:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. and Tuesday to Friday: 10:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m.

• Monday: 12:30 p.m. 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday to Friday: 1:30 p.m. 5:30 p.m.

Please note that schedules are subject to change based on business needs.

During a typical day you will:

• Workwith customersover the phone topromote BCAA insurance products and services to best fit their lives including new memberships travel insurance ICBC and optional auto insurance.

• Collaborate with BCAA Support Teams and Underwriting to recommend the right coverage for our customers

• Identifycost-saving opportunities tosupport our customers life events and future needs.

• Worktogetherwith team members to provide exceptional customer service andmeet sales goals

• Increase your industry knowledge and expertise towardsbecomingan Insurance Advisor. Youll participate in BCAAs training courses maintainyourannual licensing requirementsand keep up to date with the latest products and service offerings in a supportive environment.

What you bring:

• At least two years experience in asales andservice environment

• Level 1Insurance license(ora commitment tosecureyour licensewithin your first 45 days).BCAA will provide time and cover the cost.

• Completion ofAutoplanEssentials(ora commitmenttocompletewithin your first three monthsthrough BCAA.)BCAA will provide time and cover the cost.

• Limited history of Errors & Omissions and in good standing with the Insurance Council of BC.

• Comfortable using technology includingworkingknowledge of MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)

• Bonus qualifications!CAIB certificationknowledge of ICBC systemsand ability to speak other languages aside from English.

The salary range for this position is $42516.72to $53145.96and isdeterminedviajob-related knowledge skills experience certifications marketdemandand internal addition to base salary and BCAA benefits this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 12.5% with the opportunity to earn up to 21.5%.
