Job Summary
Job Title: OT Solutions Architect Ignition SCADA Location: Toronto/Edmonton/Calgary Canada Work Type: On Site (5 Days WFO) Assignment Length: 12 Months Years of Experience: 8-12 Years Detailed Job Description: * Lead the design and architecture of Ignition SCADA solutions aligned with enterprise and OT standards including development and configuration of HMIs scripting and data flows. * Drive integration with enterprise systems such as historians MES GIS asset management and cloud platforms. * Support commissioning testing deployment and ongoing troubleshooting of performance and communication issues. * Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards (e.g. Purdue Model IEC 62443) and governance policies. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors providing technical guidance and best practices. * Translate business needs into scalable solution designs. * Document current and future state architectures. * Present solution options with clear recommendations. * Facilitate requirements and design workshops. * Lead technical coordination and provide regular status updates. * Mentor team members and support knowledge sharing. * Proactively identify and manage risks. * Ensure solution delivery aligns with business objectives architecture design and corporate standards. Top 3 Required Skills: 1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as an OT Solutions Architect Technical Lead or Technical Business Analyst. 2. Strong experience in Ignition SCADA architecture design. 3. Solid understanding of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) SCADA and OT environments. Top 3 Preferred Skills: 1. Solid knowledge of the renewable energy domain. 2. Familiarity with OT cybersecurity principles and network segmentation (Purdue Model). 3. Experience with SCADA system design patterns deployment models and high availability architectures (Ignition SCADA preferred). Education Requirements: * Bachelors or Masters degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or equivalent stream. * Ignition Gold Certification or Core Certification preferred. |
