• $0.55/hour premium for overnight shifts
• Up to 28 hours per week with opportunities for up to 40 hours during peak periods

Available Shifts

• Afternoon - 2:00pm to 10:00pm
• Afternoon - 4:00pm to 12:00am
• Overnight - 12:00am to 8:00am

A Day in the Life

• Select and prepare orders for delivery to Metro stores
• Operate motorized pallet jack equipment
• Build pallets for shipment
• Work independently while contributing to a larger team operation
• Help ensure customers have access to the products they rely on every day

Work Environment

• Fast-paced warehouse setting
• Physically active role with continuous movement throughout the shift
• Multi-temperature environments including refrigerated areas as low as 0C
• Exposure to wet or humid conditions in some departments
• Frequent lifting bending twisting reaching and walking

What Youll Need to Succeed

• Warehouse distribution centre or general labour experience
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
• Comfort working in a physically demanding environment
• Strong safety mindset and reliable attendance
• CSA-approved safety footwear
• Ability to pass a background check
• Basic English communication and comprehension skills
