Oracle Financials Functional Test Lead

Specialized Fusion Testing

Test end-to-end business processes within and across Oracle Fusion Modules (e.g. Procure-to-Pay Order-to-Cash Record-to-Report Hire-to-Retire) FAH EPM (Planning-Financials Workforce Projects) Project Management

Validate reports and analytics built using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI)

Test inbound and outbound integrations with other systems (e.g. EDI SOAP/REST APIs PLSQL)

Test Planning & Strategy

Analyze business requirements functional design documents and user stories to understand testing scope

Develop detailed comprehensive and well-structured test plans test cases and test scripts

Define test data requirements and work with the team to have it prepared

Estimate testing effort and contribute to project timelines

Test Execution & Defect Management

Identify record document and track defects meticulously using tools like JIRA ALM or OTBI

Work with developers and functional consultants to isolate replicate and resolve defects

Perform regression testing to ensure new configurations patches or integrations do not adversely affect existing functionality

Process & Collaboration

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Business Functional Technical) to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Support business users during UAT helping them understand test cases and log issues

Create and maintain test documentation for knowledge sharing and audit purposes

Provide clear and concise test summary reports and status updates to stakeholders

Essential Skills:

More than 5 yrs exp. of Financials (FSCM): General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Fixed Assets (FA) Cash Management Expenses FAH Project Management EPM Procurement

Hands-on experience on the following is required:

Financials (FSCM) - General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Fixed Assets (FA) Cash Management Expenses FAH Project Management

EPM Planning (Financials Workforce Projects) FCCS

Procurement Purchasing

Experience in writing clear concise and comprehensive test cases and plans

Solid knowledge of SQL for data validation and querying

Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g. JIRA HP ALM/Quality Center Zephyr)

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience in:
