Job Summary

Job Summary

Lead and coordinate daily operations in a food and beverage processing environment to ensure efficient production quality and safety. Supervise production staff monitor compliance with food safety standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Main Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of production workers to meet daily output targets and quality standards.
  • Monitor and enforce food safety sanitation and workplace health and safety procedures.
  • Schedule workforce assign tasks and manage attendance and shift coverage.
  • Train coach and evaluate production staff providing feedback and addressing performance issues.
  • Inspect equipment and production processes report maintenance needs and liaise with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain production records prepare performance reports and communicate operational status to management.

Requirements

  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary training in food technology production or a related field considered an asset.
  • Minimum two years of experience in food or beverage processing including supervisory or lead-hand responsibilities.
  • Working knowledge of food safety systems and sanitation practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Availability to work shifts and overtime as required and ability to perform physical duties such as standing for extended periods and occasional lifting.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and production tracking or inventory systems and ability to maintain accurate records.
