Night Manager
Job Summary
What Youll Do
- Lead and oversee the night team providing direction coaching support and accountability.
- Coordinate staffing work assignments equipment supplies and work orders to ensure all required services are completed.
- Ensure adequate staffing and service coverage throughout the night shift.
- Train coach and support employees while reinforcing company expectations and service standards.
- Monitor team performance and address operational or performance concerns as required.
- Ensure SOPs cleaning standards safety procedures and client requirements are consistently followed.
- Conduct regular inspections and identify opportunities to improve service quality.
- Prioritize work and use sound judgment to resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Work closely with employees supervisors management and the client to address concerns and find effective solutions.
- Identify operational gaps and take appropriate corrective action.
- Monitor equipment and ensure maintenance or repair issues are reported and followed up.
- Support work order management and ensure outstanding issues are addressed.
- Promote a safe respectful and productive work environment.
- Provide regular updates to management regarding staffing service delivery incidents and operational concerns.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and help drive a high-performing team.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in custodial facilities operations or a related service environment.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing multiple direct reports preferably in a unionized environment.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning equipment custodial procedures SOPs quality standards and safe work practices.
- Demonstrated ability to train coach motivate and hold employees accountable.
- Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands and make sound decisions independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel as required.
- Flexibility to work nights weekends and holidays based on operational requirements.
