We are seeking several Mobile Forklift Technicians to perform onsite repairs at our customers facilities across the GTA. Technicians will service various lift trucks from manufacturers such as Raymond Crown Yale Hyster CAT Case JLG Linde Toyota HELI Nissan Doosan and Mitsubishi .
Technicians will be provided with a company service truck that they will take home gas card cell phone and tablet.
REQUIREMENTS:
Should have 3 years experience repairing and servicing industrial lift trucks.
Possess a working knowledge of computers and computer software.
Must abide by all company health and safety policies.
Maintain all documentation regarding repairs and maintain and parts inventory.
Good communication skills both written and verbal
Should be self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
Must have a valid G class drivers license with a clean driving record.
Must have your own set of tools.
The successful Technician will submit to a pre-employment background check.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance and repair of equipment may include:
Adjust repair or replace mechanical or electrical system parts
Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance
Perform scheduled maintenance and service
Inspect and test engines to diagnose and isolate faults
Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor
Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment
Repair and rebuild industrial lift truck equipment
Estimate repair costs and communicate to customers
Clean test and fill industrial batteries

Competitive wages $35 - $50/hr depending on experience and certification.
Proven experience as a Shop Supervisor Shop Foreman or in a similar leadership role within the diesel repair industry. Strong knowledge of diesel engine diagnostics repair and preventative maintenance. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Ability to multitask effectively and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong mechanical aptitude along with solid organizational and problem-solving skills. Prior diesel mechanic experience preferred. Familiarity with fleet management systems. Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
