Job Summary
Travel: Up to 50% travel across Western Canada
Schedule: Monday-Friday with occasional site travel shift work and on-call support as required

Finning is looking for a Mining Technology Implementation Specialist to support the installation implementation and ongoing support of advanced mining and construction technology solutions at customer sites across Western Canada.
In this role youll work directly with customers project teams and field technicians to deploy and support technologies that improve safety productivity and equipment performance.
- Lead and support mining technology implementation projects.
- Install configure test and troubleshoot software and hardware solutions.
- Provide technical support both remotely and on-site.
- Work closely with customers to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Support fleet management equipment health GPS automation and connected equipment technologies.
- Monitor system performance and ensure data accuracy.
- Develop documentation procedures and best practices.
- Track project progress and support project reporting and customer billing.
- Mentor team members and share technical expertise.
- Post-secondary education in Engineering Computer Technology Project Management Trades Business or a related field.
- Experience in mining construction heavy equipment automation or technology environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Project coordination or project management experience.
- Experience working with GPS/GNSS networking or equipment technology systems is considered an asset.
- Experience with MineStar Wenco Modular Trimble or similar fleet management technologies is an asset.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively.
