Responsibilities:
Regular Operations Support.
Asset and Competency Development (update existing SOPs and create new one based on day-to-day activities).
Strive for looking best practices in industry analyze existing environment and propose remediation plans.
Must-Haves:
Candidate must have strong Windows Server implementation troubleshooting and support (2012 and 2016).
IIS 7 administration and configuration.
Strong Knowledge on PowerShell / PowerCLI scripting and automation.
Strong hands on experience on IIS servers (HTML JavaScript XML AJAX Service- Oriented Architecture).
Responsible for the operation and administration of IIS web servers across Staging Demo and Production environments.
Performs troubleshooting and responses to all IIS related application issues.
Domain Operations Responsible for the operation and administration of network and server monitoring in regards to web hosting.
Managing Web Services third party SSL certificates and general server configurations including patch installation Web server security administration scripts and Authentication modes.
Work experience on WebLogic administration including installation configuration tuning and deployment of applications.
Good knowledge in creating and configuring domains in WebLogic
Good knowledge in configuring tuning Apache web servers in Linux environments.
Experience with JDBC JMS Webservices Security standards LDAP SSL preferably with Open AM experience.
Good knowledge in identifying the issues and providing quick resolutions
Knowledge in capturing and analyzing thread dumps and heap dumps.
Experience in analyzing and fine tuning the server parameters (JVM Size Thread pool size Garbage Collection Process etc.) for achieving better performance.
Good to Have:
Performing in- depth technical root cause analysis for high- priority IIS issues Recommending tuning adjustments to resolve complex performance issues.
Providing input and insight on Web Services architecture and build processes Setting standards for the configuration of new applications.
Assisting with application release process improvements and automation Mentoring team members on IIS configurations and architecture best practices Collaborating with infrastructure and application development teams to ensure optimal performance of IIS- related websites.
Experience in IIS administration installation migration and configuration Strong understanding of Windows Server 2008/ 2012 load balancers general networking and firewall concepts Excellent critical thinking and problem- solving skills Experience with IIS.
Log analysis/ configuration Experience designing and architecting Web servers with clustering and load balancing technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Comfortable working with IIS 7.5 - websites virtual directories application Pools etc. Familiar with basic IIS security
Good knowledge in creating and configuring domains in Oracle HTTP Server (OHS)
Good knowledge in configuring the plugins between OHS and WebLogic server
Knowledge in Linux commands and shell scripting
Handling Troubleshooting logs
