What this role is all about:

Beem Credit Union is looking for a temporary 12-month Member Service Advisor to join our Merritt Branch. As a Member Service Advisor at Beem you play a vital role in driving our companys financial success. By addressing our members core needs with excellence you not only enhance their experience but also identify opportunities to recommend and cross-sell additional products and services.

What youll do:

• Open accounts process investments & lending transactions.
• Conduct loan interviews and collect and compile relevant information for credit risk adjudication.
• Process member transactions such as deposits withdrawals transfers bill payments wires drafts term deposits etc.
• Adhere to standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with branch administrative duties such as outgoing cheque deposit ATM balancing Night Deposit etc.
• Balance treasury blotter and post transactions daily.

What will you bring:

• 1-3 years of job-related experience in a financial sales and service environment
• Basic understanding of credit products and procedures
• Knowledgeable in full range of investment products
• Financial planning courses considered an asset
• High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
