Were recruiting on behalf of a growing engineering and machine-building organization specializing in custom manufacturing equipment for customers across North America.

This opportunity is ideal for a Mechanical Design Engineer who enjoys designing real-world machinery from concept through commissioning rather than making small revisions to existing products.

Youll work on custom roll forming equipment automation systems material handling equipment and integrated manufacturing solutions while collaborating closely with engineering manufacturing and project teams.

• Design custom machinery from concept to completion

• Develop complete mechanical designs from concept through release

• Create detailed engineering drawings and manufacturing packages

• Perform engineering calculations and design validation

• Support design reviews and engineering change requests

• Collaborate with manufacturing suppliers and project teams

• Specify machine components pneumatic systems hydraulics and automation elements

• Support equipment assembly testing and commissioning activities

• Mechanical Engineering Degree

• 5 years of Mechanical Design experience

• Strong machine design background

• Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software

• Experience creating manufacturing drawings and GD&T documentation

• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and calculations

• Custom machine building experience

• Roll forming equipment experience

• Material handling systems

• Automation systems

• Robotics integration

• Pneumatic and hydraulic design

• FEA and mechanical analysis experience
