Job Summary

Position Overview:

Located in Newmarket Ontario Canada Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America (MNVNA) is the facility responsible for the production of the Ford Mustang GTD.

Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America (MNVNA) is seeking a Materials Supervisorto lead monitor and manage warehouse inventory activities of all Materials transactions to ensure uninterrupted supply of parts to production and maintain inventory levels to targets. The Materials Supervisor will report directly to the Materials Manager and will work closely with the Production team to fulfil the needs of the business.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Comply with relevant local Health & Safety legislation & company Health & Safety Policies

  • Lead the Pickers and Transaction Support Team to assure all production components are supplied to the assembly line in an accurate and timely manner

  • Oversee Preparation and Validation of all Pick Lists for all Parts and builds

  • Lead Vehicle build scheduling and schedule changes

  • Physical Parts Movement in the warehouse and the plant when required

  • Assist Materials Manager in Production Order Creation

  • Assure all parts allocations for all Production orders are completed in SAP

  • Assure Service Parts are picked staged and shipped as per Service Parts Delivery schedule

  • Support Stock Draw Process

  • Lead assigned teams during Physical Inventory Counts

  • Notify Material Manager of any potential issues

  • Assure all transactions are done in timely manner while maintaining transactional accuracy from Initial Parts Receiving & Sales/Production Order Creation to Final Parts Allocations for both Physical Parts movement and SAP/IMS System Transactions

  • Work cross-functionally with other teams and departments to support business objectives

  • Support other tasks as assigned by Materials Manager

Education Skills & Experience

  • 5 to 10 years of Materials Supervisory experience in manufacturing or automotive industry is preferred

  • Knowledge of SAP or/and other MRP/ERP Systems

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook and have an ability to present information visually

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Strong strong logical decision making and problem-solving skills

  • Confident leadership skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with internal and external customers

  • Work in compliance with TS16949 Standards and ISO 14001. As well as Lean Manufacturing and 5S concepts awareness and adherence

  • Forklift Reach Truck Order Picker qualifications are an asset

  • College diploma in Supply Chain management or equivalent is an asset

This job posting is for an existing vacancy. The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be:

$21.14 - $34.09
