Job Responsibilities:

$20.16 - $24.72

POSITION TYPE : WINTER & SUMMER TERM

VACANCY STATUS:

Immediate Open Position

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Warehouse storage rack organization (labelling auditing)
Create a better process for ordering expendable packaging including a where-used file
Help with BOM walks and updates
Review all Materials & Shipping Procedures in CAQ for validity and duplicates
Help to improve processes in Shipping Supply Chain Inventory Scheduling and Customer Service
Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner abiding by all health safety and environmental rules and regulations promoting safety in the workplace
Comply with the requirements of CTPAT/PIP
Conduct business in an ethical manner in compliance with the Magna Code of Conduct
Report all accidents/incidents and unsafe conditions/behavior
Adhere to applicable quality systems and IATF16949 standards
Adhere to and promote the Employee Charter and work within the rules regulations and guidelines of the Plastcoat Employee Handbook
Participate in and support Continuous Improvement initiatives
Maintain work area in accordance with the principles of 5S and operate daily within these standards
Ensure work area is kept neat and organized
Perform other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Pursuing University degree in Materials Management/Supply Chain with experience in Materials Management or Supply Chain (preferred)
SKILLS:
Good verbal and written communication skills
Computer literate in word & spreadsheet programs
Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems
Strong interpersonal skills
