As the Manager Provincial Grant Programs you will:

• Lead and coach a team responsible for delivering provincial infrastructure grant programs fostering a high-performing collaborative and inclusive work environment.
• Manage recruitment onboarding performance development and succession planning to build and retain a skilled workforce.
• Oversee unit operations budgets and resources to ensure priorities are delivered effectively and aligned with branch objectives.
• Provide financial oversight of grant programs including funding commitments expenditures forecasts and financial pressures to support effective stewardship of public funds.
• Oversee program performance compliance and risk ensuring grants are administered in accordance with approved policies program guidelines funding agreements and government requirements.
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the development implementation and administration of provincial infrastructure grant programs including water wastewater local roads and bridges community airports and other funding initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with municipalities water commissions First Nations communities Metis Settlements and other stakeholders to support program delivery and funding decisions.
• Serve as a key point of contact for grant program initiatives providing advice analysis and recommendations on funding opportunities and municipal priorities.
• Represent the department on internal cross-ministry and external committees contributing to program development operational improvements and policy discussions.
• Lead the development of briefing materials correspondence funding recommendations research reports and responses to issues and inquiries.
