The Toronto Blue Jays are looking for aManager Promotions & Experience.

As a member of the Fan Experience Department of the Toronto Blue Jays this full-time position is responsible for supporting the premium experience and ensuring promotional programs are seamlessly integrated throughout the addition this role is accountable for booking and managing talent in event spaces across the ballpark. Finally this incumbent will support the planning development and execution of Jays Care Foundations fundraising events portfolio where they will be responsible for contributing to the achievement of an annual events fundraising target exceeding $2.4 million.


Key Responsibilities
Promotions & Experience

  • Support the planning coordination and gameday execution of promotions theme days and fan activations to deliver a seamless highquality ingame and ballpark experience
  • Lead crossfunctional coordination with internal teams (Game Entertainment Communications Production Retail etc.) and external vendors to execute promotional initiatives on time and on brand
  • Oversee operational planning for assigned promotional games and theme days including timelines logistics inventory runofshow inputs and postevent recaps
  • Manage vendor sourcing and logistics including budgets quotes production timelines onsite execution and invoice processing
  • Support in managing all live entertainment programming throughout the Outfield District and Premium Clubs and ensuring all performers align with the identify of each space as well as any applicable promotions or theme days
  • Support in the evaluation and elevation of the end-to-end guest experience across all areas of the ballpark from the Outfield District to the Premium Clubs to ensure standards are upheld
  • Alongside the Manager Giveaways & Promotions Programming support the execution of Jr. Jays Sundays including gameday activations entertainment elements and kidfocused experiences
  • Partner with Sr. Manager Promotions & Experience on the overall strategy and ongoing management of the Jr. Jays Club with a focus on growing membership increasing retention and enhancing member value
  • Oversee the daytoday operations of the Jr. Jays Club including digital engagement event execution program delivery and member communications
  • Play an active role in fostering a collaborative solutionsoriented team culture consistently prioritizing a bestinclass fan experience with strong attention to detail and continuous improvement


Jays Care Events

  • Lead the planning and execution of Jays Care Foundation fundraising events (including Golf Classic Broadcast Auction Behind The Plate EmpowHER Garage Sale playerled and thirdparty events) with a focus on revenue growth operational excellence and a bestinclass guest experience
  • Partner with the Sr. Manager Promotions & Experience to translate strategic objectives into detailed event plans timelines and resource requirements
  • Oversee all event operations including project workbacks logistics production auction strategy run of show and onsite execution
  • Provide onsite leadership to drive seamless execution manage stakeholders and hosts and resolve realtime issues
  • Ensure consistent execution quality across all events aligning guest services communications ticketing accommodations and gifting with brand and service standards
  • Act as the primary decision-maker across all event delivery domains including scope budget vendors timelines and risk making informed decisions and trade-offs to balance cost experience and revenue outcomes ensuring successful event delivery
  • Escalate decisions to the Sr. Manager Promotions & Experience when required including those that impact revenue targets budget brand reputation or safety
  • Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect event outcomes


Skills and Qualifications

  • Completed University or College education in related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years event planning fundraising or partnership experience from public and/or not-for-profit sector
  • Experience managing complex events and multiple projects concurrently
  • Understanding of and passion for the game of baseball and Toronto Blue Jays
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Salesforce fundraising software an asset
  • Leadership abilities to manage and mentor team members
  • Polished written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with keen eye for attention to details
  • Creativity and willingness to share ideas
  • Strong problem-solving skills and confidence to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Team player with an ability to support the big picture goals of the organization while contributing to day-to-day execution


All candidates must be available for all Blue Jays home games with the ability and willingness to work evenings weekends and holidays throughout the year asrequired.


Salary:The anticipated base compensation range for this role is $70000 $75000. Actual base pay offered within this range may differ based on a range of factors including individual experience education skills and organizational needs.
