Diabetes Canada is here to helpproviding tools resources and support to make that journey us in leading with strength and compassion - so no one faces diabetes the Role Were seeking a Manager Marketing Performance & Optimization who will maximize the effectiveness of Diabetes Canadas digital marketing and engagement efforts by applying datadriven insights to improve performance user experience and outcomes across owned and paid to Executive Director Digital Marketing the Manager will act as a strategic translator advisor and advocate for data-informed marketing. They will help teams use insights to improve decision-making optimize performance and strengthen organizational understanding of digital measurement through dashboards and reporting provided through enterprise platforms. Working closely with Marketing colleagues IT & Data and external agencies the role will champion a disciplined testandlearn approach that improves results while advancing a culture of evidencebased Manager will work closely with the IT & Data team the Direct Marketing team contributing marketing and communications performance expertise within broader enterprise data practices. We offer a flexible hybrid work arrangement allowing employees to work remotely with the expectation of coming into the office as required by their : Thehiring salary range for this role is $85000 $100000 annually depending on skills and experience with meeting the requirements of the Youll Do Marketing Performance & OptimizationLead performance analysis across digital campaigns web journeys email and social channels using enterprise dashboards and trends and insights to optimize campaigns content journeys and experiences in partnership with channel opportunities to improve collection engagement retention and conversion audience journey and behavioural insights to optimize endtoend user journeys across acquisition engagement and conversion spanning web email and paid performance insights to annual planning quarterly reviews and campaign prioritization with channel leads to assess performance relative to forecasts and budget assumptions (without owning budgets).Identify emerging data tracking and reporting needs and work closely with IT & Data teams to help prioritize and facilitate measurement enhancement requestsTestandLearn & ExperimentationLead structured A/B and multivariate testing across digital campaigns and and maintain an experimentation roadmap aligned with marketing priorities and tests are welldesigned with clear hypotheses success metrics and actionable with IT & Data and agencies to ensure experiments are methodologically learnings and embed insights into marketing playbooks and best a culture of experimentation by encouraging teams to validate assumptions learn from outcomes and apply insights to future Storytelling & Decision SupportTranslate performance data into clear audience appropriate insights and actionable findings to marketing leadership peers and agency insights across channels to identify broader patterns and systemic campaign retrospectives and planning cycles using agreed marketing inputs to executive and boardlevel marketing performance summaries as stakeholders interpret performance changes trends and anomalies by providing context identifying contributing factors and clarifying measurement considerations or cross-channel patterns and systemic performance issues beyond individual campaign analysisActs as a strategic advisor and recommender; decision authority for campaign execution creative and platform changes remains with respective channel and platform Management & Agile DeliveryManage performance optimization and experimentation initiatives as defined and prioritize work using Agile and iterative approaches (e.g. backlogs sprints retrospectives).Track progress against milestones manage dependencies and ensure timely delivery of and prioritize initiatives based on business impact data availability organizational readiness and resource competing priorities while maintaining focus on highestimpact Tools & Agency EnablementMaintain strong working knowledge of digital analytics and MarTech tools (e.g. GA4 GTM Looker Power BI) with administration of GA4 and GTM. As well as solutions in the MarTech ecosystem such as CRM and email marketing automation platforms e.g. with IT & Data to identify tracking needs flag data gaps and validate usability of agency relationships from a performance and optimization insights inform campaign optimization creative briefs and media documentation related to performance frameworks and learning and communicate data quality issues tracking inconsistencies and measurement limitations that may impact reporting accuracy or and on a bespoke basis produce reports (e.g. campaign retrospectives) both independently and/or working with the IT&D data team as neededEnablement & Continuous ImprovementBuild analytics confidence within Diabetes Canada by helping teams across the organization understand results and how to positively act on consistent and correct use of data in planning optimization and and share key learnings from major initiatives and campaigns to strengthen Diabetes Canadas data maturity and institutional promote a culture of evidencebased decisionmaking and continuous You Bring10 years in digital marketing performance analytics or optimization rolesPostsecondary education in marketing analytics or related field or equivalent experienceExperience in nonprofit or missiondriven environments is an assetExperience translates complex data into clear actionable recommendations connecting performance insights to broader marketing and organizational priorities to inform expertise in analytics and marketing platforms (e.g. GA4 Meta Hootsuite YouTube Studio Looker Studio Power BI email automation)Well understanding and knowledge of data tools (e.g. Databricks SQL) and AI insights effectively and influences cross-functional stakeholders while promoting data literacy consistent measurement practices and a culture of evidence-based acquisition engagement retention ROI and attribution Join UsAt Diabetes Canada youll play a meaningful role in making a difference every day for people living with or at risk of diabetes.
