The successful candidate will lead high-performing teams in a dynamic environment balancing service risk management compliance and operational efficiency while helping shape the future of Individual Wealth one of the regions top employers and be part of something that truly makes a Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo ON a minimum of two (2) assigned consecutive days every other week plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum youll do:Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of Individual Wealth administrative functions including new business administration in-force administration financial transactions and claims service excellence by ensuring service quality productivity and operational performance targets are achieved in a high-volume fast-paced operational workflows resource allocation workforce planning and capacity management to support business growth and service coach and develop employees through effective performance management talent development employee engagement and succession operational performance metrics identify trends and opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions to address service or productivity adherence to regulatory requirements internal policies operational controls and risk management standards while maintaining strong governance operational risks analyze complex exceptions and make sound decisions to balance client service compliance and financial and support operational change initiatives including process improvement digitization and workflow optimization with cross-functional teams to identify operational efficiencies improve client and advisor experiences and support strategic business operational priorities results and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the youll bring:Post-secondary education preferably in Business Administration or a related leadership experience with a strong track record of coaching developing and managing high-performing knowledge of Individual Wealth operations products services and administrative understanding of segregated funds Guaranteed Interest Accounts (GIAs) annuities and associated operational knowledge of applicable systems including VAX Ingenium Unitrax or similar wealth administration understanding of compliance requirements regulatory authorities risk management principles and operational controls within a financial services experience leading operational change process improvement digitization and continuous improvement analytical workforce planning and performance management capabilities with the ability to leverage operational data and metrics to drive problem-solving decision-making negotiation and influencing skills in complex and time-sensitive communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees leaders and cross-functional to balance multiple priorities manage competing deadlines and lead across diverse operational technical aptitude with the ability to understand systems compliance requirements taxation concepts and operational processes.A client-focused results-oriented mindset with a passion for service excellence accountability and continuous in it for you:Career Growth: Regular learning sessions and developmentopportunitiesTotal Rewards: Incentive pay annual salary reviews employer-paid benefits and pensionmatchingTime Away: Competitive vacation plus one paid volunteer day each yearFlexibility: Healthy work-life balance with employee wellness always top of mind complemented by a dress for your day Equitable were committed to fair pay and an inclusive accessible hiring experience.
