In this leadership role you will help shape technology delivery practices develop exceptional talent and drive the evolution of our digital capabilities. Working closely with Product Project Management Architecture Operations and business leaders you will deliver innovative secure and scalable solutions that create meaningful value for both players and our business.

What Youll Do:
- Lead coach and develop software development and technical leadership teams fostering a culture of accountability engagement collaboration and continuous learning.
- Oversee the delivery of digital products enhancements and technology initiatives that support business objectives and exceptional player experiences.
- Partner with Product Owners Architecture Project Management and business stakeholders to prioritize work manage capacity and align delivery plans with strategic goals.
- Champion Agile and DevOps practices that improve team effectiveness delivery quality operational stability and decrease time-to-market.
- Guide technical decision-making and continuous improvement efforts related to development practices automation scalability security and platform performance.
- Act as an escalation point for complex delivery and operational challenges ensuring risks issues and dependencies are effectively managed.
- Contribute to the technology roadmap and future direction of ALs digital capabilities through strategic planning innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience in Information Technology or a related field.
- 7 years of progressive experience in software development application delivery or technology solutions roles.
- 3 years of experience leading technical teams software development teams or technology delivery functions.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale web mobile or digital solutions in an Agile environment.
- Experience working with modern software development practices including DevOps continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) and software quality management.
- Experience building collaborative relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience balancing strategic planning team development and delivery execution in a fast-paced technology environment.
- Must be 19 years of age or older and reside in Atlantic Canada.

Work Location & Flexibility
This role is full-time in-office. It may be based out of one of our Atlantic Canadian offices: Moncton NB; Dartmouth NS; or St. Johns NL.
Compensation
- Salary Band: $94000 - $152750
- Expected Hiring Range: $112000 - $130000 (based on experience skills market conditions and internal equity)

Recruitment Process

Role Commitment
To support employee development business continuity and knowledge transfer individuals who accept this position are expected to remain in the role for a minimum of 18 months before being eligible to apply for or transfer to another position within Atlantic Lottery.
This expectation applies to both external hires and employees moving into the role from another position.
Internal Candidates
Internal applicants must be in good standing including meeting expectations on their most recent performance review and must not be on probation. Consideration may also include factors such as performance improvement plans disciplinary actions attendance and completion of mandatory training.
A Predictive Index (PI) assessment will be completed or shared with the hiring leader as part of the evaluation process.
Eligibility to Work in Canada
Candidates must have all required work permits visas and authorizations and be eligible to work in Canada at the time an offer is made. It is the candidates responsibility to secure these requirements.
