What youll do
Provide leadership management and subject matter expertise in compensation and performance management
Support and manage job catalogue job architecture and compensation frameworks
Monitor effectiveness of compensation programs and recommend improvements based on trends and analysis
Manage and align internal processesincluding job evaluation and pay structures
Contribute to the design and governance of compensation programs aligned with organizational objectives and best practices
Oversee compensation data benchmarking analytics and reporting
Lead pay equity initiativesincluding planning reviewingprocesses and implementingrequired changes
Provide leadership for annual market review performance review and compensation processes
Develop and manage policies tools and communications related to performance and compensation cycles
SupportBoard and Human Resourcesand GovernanceCommittee initiatives and special projects
Lead coach and develop team members while fostering a high-performing and engaged team culture
Build strong partnerships across teams and stakeholders to support organizational objectives
What youll bring to the team
Required qualifications:
Bachelors degree in administration commercehuman resources or a related field or discipline
At least eight years of relatedcompensationexperience(or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
In-depth knowledge of compensation job architecture and performance management principles and practices
Working knowledge of relevant legislationincluding Canada Labour Code Human Rights and Pay Equity
Strong analytical problem-solving and project management skills
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and influence stakeholders
Preferred qualifications:
Experience supporting enterprise-wide compensation programs and initiatives
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation
Working knowledge of Workday
