What youll do

  • Provide leadership management and subject matter expertise in compensation and performance management

  • Support and manage job catalogue job architecture and compensation frameworks

  • Monitor effectiveness of compensation programs and recommend improvements based on trends and analysis

  • Manage and align internal processesincluding job evaluation and pay structures

  • Contribute to the design and governance of compensation programs aligned with organizational objectives and best practices

  • Oversee compensation data benchmarking analytics and reporting

  • Lead pay equity initiativesincluding planning reviewingprocesses and implementingrequired changes

  • Provide leadership for annual market review performance review and compensation processes

  • Develop and manage policies tools and communications related to performance and compensation cycles

  • SupportBoard and Human Resourcesand GovernanceCommittee initiatives and special projects

  • Lead coach and develop team members while fostering a high-performing and engaged team culture

  • Build strong partnerships across teams and stakeholders to support organizational objectives

What youll bring to the team

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in administration commercehuman resources or a related field or discipline

  • At least eight years of relatedcompensationexperience(or an equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • In-depth knowledge of compensation job architecture and performance management principles and practices

  • Working knowledge of relevant legislationincluding Canada Labour Code Human Rights and Pay Equity

  • Strong analytical problem-solving and project management skills

  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and influence stakeholders

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience supporting enterprise-wide compensation programs and initiatives

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation

  • Working knowledge of Workday
