When your actions lead to success:

• Minimize production interruptions through troubleshooting and production equipment maintenance and rebuilds in accordance with manufacturers specifications and using safe operating procedures.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and auxiliary equipment.
• Respond to mechanical breakdowns and ensure proper functioning on completion.
• Diagnosing situational and ongoing problems; assess and repair breakdowns.
• Fabricate parts guards etc. using machine shop equipment.
• To improve efficiency and safety use parts and techniques to modify equipment operation and guarding.
• Machine installation or moves as required including set-up and pre-start.

When your expertise drives us:

• Certificate of qualification Millwright. Red Seal.
• Experience in Manufacturing Industrial environment.
• Certification/education or skilled experience in machine shop equipment (ie: lathe milling welder).
• Consideration of 4th year apprentice if required hours are completed.
• Excellent knowledge of machines and their capacity.
• Flexibility adaptable team player with excellent organizational time management and planning skills.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) computer skills.
• Priority driven self-motivated with a positive attitude.
