Berger is looking for a Millwright Foreman at our Oakbank site to complete our already established maintenance team. Without a doubt there are some great challenges for you ahead in a company that focuses on innovation and continuous SUMMARY:Supervise and schedule the maintenance team on rotation to follow production schedules;Ensure that routine planned maintenance is completed on time;Ensure the maintenance team is on hand to address unexpected breakdowns when they occur;Identify opportunities for improvement and work with your team the engineering design team and management to bring those improvements to fruition;Use your leadership experience to mentor your employees to address performance issues and to ensure your employees are engaged and focused on completing tasks assigned to them;Collaborate with various teams on improvement projects related to buildings equipment and the yard for the entire :You are a licensed journeyman in Industrial Mechanics (an asset);You hold a relevant diploma or certification (Red Seal is an asset);You are familiar with industrial electronics and controls;You have 2-3 years of leadership experience supervising a small team;You have previous experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts in industrial settings;You are autonomous organized and detail oriented in your work;Willingness to travel to other Manitoba Berger sites is AND BENEFITS :Group RRSP and group insurance;Allowance for work and safety item;Discounts used on Berger products;Employee assistance program;Offer of training and skills CONDITIONS:40 hours per week;Daytime US: At Berger we have been developing and marketing the best horticultural mixes for growing flowers berries market garden products in greenhouses and much more for more than 60 seasons.
