Mainframe Modernization Architect BFSI

About the Role
We are seeking a Mainframe Modernization Architect to define and lead enterprise transformation strategies for legacy financial platforms. The successful candidate will architect modernization solutions cloud migration strategies and future-state technology roadmaps.
IMPORTANT NOTE BFSI EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Candidates must have extensive experience designing modernization strategies for Banking Financial Services Insurance Capital Markets Payments or Wealth Management organizations.
Candidates without BFSI industry experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead application modernization strategy.
- Design target-state cloud and hybrid architectures.
- Define migration and transformation roadmaps.
- Evaluate modernization tooling and platforms.
- Provide technical leadership across transformation programs.
- Partner with executive stakeholders and enterprise architects.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of Mainframe and Legacy Platform experience.
- Expertise with z/OS COBOL PL/I CICS DB2 JCL and modernization frameworks.
- Experience with AWS Azure and hybrid-cloud architectures.
- Proven success leading large-scale transformation initiatives.
