Job Summary

Mainframe Developer COBOL JCL DB2 IMS & Mainframe Modernization

Skills Required:

Tech Stack: IBM Mainframe JCL COBOL SQL DB2 Deep IMS knowledge Endevor File-AID CA-7.

Tools: INSYNC Jira Confluence ServiceNow.

AI Awareness: Should be AI aware with experience using GitHub Copilot and VSCode.

Designer Skills:

Ability to independently analyze IMS Segments.

Create detailed designs.

Lead junior developers.

Participate in end-to-end field mapping.

Develop unit test and deploy code.

DB2:

Strong understanding of DB2 objects and processing.

Ability to independently analyze DB2 objects.

Soft Skills:

Ability to work independently and learn in an environment with limited mainframe experience.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt and learn.

Nice to Have (Non-Mandatory):

Knowledge of Kafka and RESTful APIs.
