Job Summary
Aversan Inc.() is a trusted multi-service engineering and electronics manufacturing company. Aversan delivers leading-edge and reliable safety-critical electronics and software systems to the aerospace defence and space industries.
We are currently seeking a qualified Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will design develop and test all aspects of mechanical components equipment and machinery for aerospace products.

Responsibilities
- Design develop and test all aspects of mechanical components equipment and machinery.
- Prepare engineering designs and specifications for mechanical products.
- Apply engineering principles to support the design of machines instruments controls robotics and related equipment.
- Participate in the fabrication installation operation and application of mechanical products.
- Support product testing and evaluate performance against specifications.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and design-related issues.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation drawings and technical reports.
- Follow established engineering procedures standards and safety requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product performance and manufacturing processes.
- Perform other engineering duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or equivalent combination of diplomas and work experience
- 0 2 years of experience in design and development of mechanical components in machining.
- Mandatory machining experience and understanding of machining processes.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
- Ability to design and analyze mechanical components and systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under immediate supervision and follow established procedures.

Compensation:$60000 $70000 CAD (annual salary)
The base salary or rate offered to an applicant within this range is determined by considering several factors including the individuals geographic location skills competencies and unique qualifications.
