- Conduct Loss Prevention briefings at crew meetings.
- Conduct customer packaging compliance and piece count audits.
- Review high loss customer claims history analysis reviews reports and recommendations.
- Conduct investigations/interviews as required.
- Conduct Policy and Procedure compliance audits.
- Assess current security protocols and make recommendations.
- Investigate and report non-compliance issues.
- 3 years of security related experience.
- 3 year of supervisory / leadership experience.
- Valid Drivers license and clear abstract is required.
- Knowledge of Criminal Code of Canada Trespass to Property Act and Powers of Arrest.
- Previous experience with CCTV access control and security systems.
- Energetic leader and ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to coordinate a wide variety of duties and responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work with a high degree of honesty and integrity.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
- Recognized security accreditation (CPO CSS CPP CISSP PSP PCI) is an asset.
- Experience in the courier / cargo / transport industry is an asset.
- Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) certifications are an asset
- College education or equivalent is preferred.
