Your Role

As Logistics Specialist youll take on real challenges that bring out your full potential.
Your scope includes:

• Ensure the accuracy of inventory data in the system in real time and in the correct location
• Ensure the execution of the logistics plan for the sites under your responsibility
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of delivery dates
• Foster collaboration between production and logistics partners
• Ensure warehouse optimization
• Implement the external warehouse management strategy
• Ensure the implementation of a cycle counting process according to business rules
• Ensure that standard operating procedures are understood and followed

What you bring

Youre a natural fit for Logistics Specialistif you have:

*Please note this position requires 25% travel in Canada and the United States.

• A professional diploma in logistics or a related field
• 5 years of experience in a similar role and experience with SAP
• Knowledge of the various challenges involved in managing a complete supply chain.
• Good knowledge of laws and regulations of the transportation industry: Canada and U.S. considered an asset
• Leadership skills and the ability to gain buyin from our plants for proposed solutions
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
• Autonomy a strong sense of responsibility and high personal and professional ethics
• Strong analytical skills enabling sound decisionmaking and effective prioritization
• Rigor and agility to manage projects while considering scope budgets and deadlines
• Knowledge of continuous improvement concepts and the ability to integrate them into your management approach
