About the position
The Load Control Agent plays a critical role in supporting safe and efficient flight operations by performing aircraft load planning and weight and balance calculations. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and company procedures while coordinating operational information and supporting cargo and airport activities as required. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment demonstrate strong analytical skills and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Level: As per the UNIFOR Collective Agreement.
Pay Rate: Starting at $21.50 per hour in accordance with the UNIFOR Collective Agreement or commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities
Complete aircraft weight and balance calculations in accordance with regulatory requirements safety standards and company procedures.
Develop and manage aircraft load plans to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Monitor process and resolve operational issues as they arise.
Communicate and transmit critical operational information through various channels including load planning systems radio communications email telephone and reservations systems.
Maintain accurate records and documentation required by government agencies and company policies.
Provide operational support andeffectiveshift handovers to fellow Load Control Agents.
Identify and communicate workplace concerns operational risks and customer service barriers to supervisors.
Support airport and cargo operations as required.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills.
Excellent planning time management and organizational abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings weekends and holidays as operationally required.
Strong computer skills and proficiency with standard business applications.
Ability to obtain a Restricted Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate.
Successful completion of company Load Control Training.
Ability to obtain and maintain an Airport Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) in accordance with Transport Canada requirements.
Assets
Previous experience in airport airline cargo or aviation operations.
Previous load control experience.
Familiarity with Sabre and Skyline systems.
Knowledge of WHMIS and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations and procedures.
