Licensed Practical Nurse LTC

Prosperity Workforce Solutions is currently recruiting a Licensed Practical Nurse Long Term Care for a permanent opportunity to join their clients team in Kelowna BC. Lines available:

• Full time night line 630pm-630am rotating between 3 days on 2 days off 3 days on 3 days off
• Part time day line 7am-3pm rotating between 3 days on 2 days off 3 days on 3 days off

Responsibilities:

• Work as a member of the inter-professional team as described by our Professional Practice Model applying the person-centered approach to care.
• Complete and ensure residents clinical care assessments care/service plans and documentation are accurate up to date and changes communicated as required.
• Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the care/service plans and make changes as required.
• Assist with scheduling of residents care conferences and participate in conferences where applicable.
• Work closely with the Director of Care to facilitate residents move in move out and transfers.
• Provide direct resident care and medication/ treatment administration and document care in compliance with regulatory and Resident Care standards policies and procedures.
  

Qualifications:

• Practical Nurse Diploma
• Active BCCNM License Registration
• Prior Canadian experience in senior care or long-term care
• Current CPR training certification
• Current First Aid certification
• Completion of a current Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain)
