Description

Learning Development Coordinator supports both employees and management by handling administrative and coordination tasks for the Learning and Development department. This role ensures smooth operation of training programs workshops and employee development initiatives by organizing logistics maintaining records and facilitating communication between team members and stakeholders. The coordinator plays a key role in helping the department run efficiently enabling the effective delivery of learning solutions and supporting the continuous growth and development of employees across the organization.

Qualifications

Educationand Professional Certification
  • Certificate or diploma in human resources business administration or a related field of study.
  • CharteredProfessional in Human Resources (CPHR)designationis an asset.
Experience
  • Minimum one (1)year ofexperience workingin an office would be given to those who have experience working in human resources.
  • Experience working on computers with software packagesincluding;Excel Word and Outlook.
  • Experience working with HR Information System(HRIS)and Learning Management System(LMS)would be an asset.
  • Experience working with various databases.

Duties and Responsibilities

Services

  • Learning Management System administrator.
  • Coordinate Training Programs; organize and schedule training sessions workshops and other learning events. This includeslogisticslike booking venues managing attendance and preparing training materials.
  • Develop Learning Content;assistin creating training materials including manuals presentations e-learning modules and job aids.
  • First point of contact forexternaland internaltrainingqueries.
  • Developmaintainand updateLearning and Developmentdocumentationand correspondencesuchas;reports lettersformsspreadsheetsemployeetraining manualsandtraining all documentation clearly accurately andin a timely manner.
  • Create and interpret standardized and ad hoc metric reports for multi-level usage.
  • Enter and update employeetraininginformation inUKGand in other applicable databases.
  • Track inventory oflearning anddevelopmentactivitiesand resources
  • Developandmaintainagencycourse the primary conduit for all training scheduling for the agency.
  • Communicate with andestablishprofessional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and responsible fortheHRTrainingemailinbox.
  • Perform otherLearning and Developmentrelated duties as assigned.

Leadership

  • Role model agency values and HR best practices.
  • Ensuretrainingpolicies procedures and agency standards are being met.

Management of Resources

  • Seekto improve processes and enhance services and efficiencies within the department and across the agency.
  • Participate in the implementation of Learning and Development initiatives and ensure assigned projects are delivered within proposed timeframes and budgets.
  • Maintain adequate training supplies and equipment.
  • Maintaininstructor inventory.
  • Support the administrationof course and facilitator surveysand distribute reports.

Safety

  • Maintain promote and reinforce safe work habits practices and procedures.
  • Adhere to written or verbal agency and government regulations policies practices and instructions.

Additional Requirements

The incumbent is responsible for completing all mandatory training requirements for the position as per agency policy and guidelines.

Wage range for this position is $24.02 to $31.06 per hour.
