Labourer Temporary

Under the supervision of the site manager the labourer will be responsible for sorting different types of metals using manual processes.

• Sort the different metals according to their characteristics;
• Prepare the material to meet the quality criteria ;(e.g. cutting aluminum)
• Working with different types of machinery; (forklift)
• Ensure that the premises remain clean at all times;
• Assist with loading and unloading customer vehicles;
• Assign the correct type of metal to the metals provided by the customer.
• Participate in shipping tasks;
• Assist with torch cutting as needed;
• Provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications :

• You have experience operating a forklift (an asset);
• You have experience in metal recycling (an asset);
• You have good knowledge of metals (an asset).
• You are able to work in a dusty environment;
• You are able to work outdoors in both good and bad weather;
• You are in good physical condition;
• You like working in a safe manner;
• You are responsible and resourceful;
• You like working as part of a team;
• You are punctual and diligent.
