Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Labourer to join our team in Laval.
The Labourer will play a key role in the daily operations of the site. The successful candidate will be responsible for sorting handling and preparing metals. This is a dynamic position that combines manual labour physical work and teamwork in an industrial environment.
What you will be responsible for :
- Assist with unloading materials;
- Sort inspect and identify different types of metals;
- Assess the quality of incoming materials;
- Weigh metals and complete the required data entry;
- Operate various equipment and machinery as needed;
- Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment in accordance with health and safety standards;
- Perform any other related duties to support site operations.
Qualifications :

- You are physically fit and enjoy manual labour and material handling;
- You are comfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks;
- You work safely and follow health and safety procedures;
- You are responsible resourceful versatile and enjoy working as part of a team;
- You are able to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment;
- You have experience in metal recycling or operating a forklift (an asset).
